The mother of Alan Jones' youngest alleged victim testified in a Sydney court that she trusted the 2GB radio broadcaster and felt comfortable allowing her teenage son to spend a weekend at Jones' property in Fitzroy Falls, in New South Wales' southern highlands.

The witness broke down in tears during testimony, according to the Guardian. She told the court she was frightened after her son declined to report the alleged contact to authorities.

The son, identified in court proceedings as complainant A, has testified that when he was 17 years old he was alone at the farm when Jones allegedly kissed him, put his tongue in his mouth and touched him on the bottom. "I felt violated and I felt gross," the young man told the court earlier in the trial.

Jones faces charges related to alleged sexual abuse spanning multiple complainants. The trial is ongoing in Sydney.

The mother's testimony establishes the backdrop of trust that existed between her family and Jones before the alleged incident. Her emotional reaction in court underscores the impact of her son's decision not to immediately report what he said occurred.
